Despite careful processing, "tap" or city water may contain still contaminants. Some of these contaminants are noticeable by taste, color or smell. Some, such as bacteria can be harmful, and other types of contamination, (such as hard water) can make it difficult to clean with and may leave residue in your fixtures and appliances. A point of use filtration system attached to a fixture, most typically the kitchen sink. A whole house filter with a carbon filter cartridge can be installed by Dipple Plumbing, Inc. The filter is installed at the point of entry of your water (where the water enters your home).
